Volunteer STARS Tutors
Lake Avenue Community Foundation is in need of tutors for the STARS after school program! We are looking for volunteers who can commit to tutor one hour per week. Our tutoring hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 pm. We are also looking for volunteers to help with our elementary activities Mondays through Thursdays from 4:30-5:15 pm, and to tutor in our new college prep program on Thursdays from 8-9 pm. Prayer Partners
As an important part of being a Community of Concern, we want to be able to pray for the people who come to Warehouse--especially after a particularly moving, encouraging, or convicting message. We need one guy and one gal to hang out after service to be a Prayer Partner. Don't be intimidated or feel that you need "the gift of prayer" to be able to do this! All it takes is a moment to listen, and another moment or so to offer up a simple prayer. If you are interested please contact whsglo@gmail.com or sign up at the Connection Table.
Time and Location:
We were so excited to announce that both the Saturday Night and the Warehouse Sunday Night worship services are now meeting in the Chapel. Also, the new starting time for both services is 5 pm. So please mark your calendars and join us in re-inhabiting a place that God has used in powerful ways throughout Lake’s many decades of ministry.
